PATH Indicates which directories MS-DOS should search for executable files. Note: PATH information is saved in the environment variable named "PATH". In Windows 9x or Windows NT, there is an enhanced PATH command usage: PATH ;;%path% . Use this format to append the paths where you want MS-DOS to search for executable files to the current path setting. You should specify a "PATH" in the full path format, that is , or you will see MS-DOS searching for the wrong path if you are at a different location. Also, in Windows 9x, it is recommended that you use short filenames instead of long ones for the paths. This will save much environment space. For more information, please refer to MS-DOS Help or Windows NT command line command help.
