PAUSE

Suspends processing of a batch program and displays a message 
that prompts the user to press any key to continue. You can use 
this command only within batch programs.

Note: This command can be run from MS-DOS command line, but it 
will be of no use. As descripted above, the command interpreter 
displays a message, and wait for the user to press any key to 
continue. The message is usually "Press any key to continue . . 
.".
